The tee is situated to the side of the clubhouse dressing rooms and points you off in a south easterly direction.
A straight tee shot will set you up for a choice of second shot that will either allow you to lay up and play safe or for the long hitters take on the well-guarded green.
There is a tarmac road halfway down that runs across the fairway and is approximately 200 yds from the green.
There is also out of bounds all along the right-hand side of the hole past the road, this can catch out any mis-hit ball going to the right.
The green is tricky to read and is protected by a bunker on the left and right.
