On a gloriously sunny day, Saturday 7 May the ladies section of St Athan golf club held their Spring Coffee Morning and golf competition, offering stalls of ladies golf wear and fashion jewellery. The day was a great success with more than 50 ladies attending.
The winners of the Golf competitions were
Away winners: Sue Gooding from Glamorganshire won with 20 points and Jane Phillips from Brynhill came a close second with 19 points.
Home winner: Maureen Anderson with 21 points and Carol Morgan runner up with 18 points.
